Repairers, fixers and tinkerers all over the world will celebrate International Repair Day this Saturday 19th of October. As Right to Repair Europe, we invite you to our webinar on Tuesday 15th of October from 13:30 to 15:00 Brussels time to discuss the state of right to repair in Europe.
The Open Repair Alliance (ORA) will present main findings from their latest report on open repair data stemming from community repair initiatives. The data will cover what type of product categories people wish to fix. Against this backdrop, we will discuss what was achieved during the past mandate (Ecodesign Regulation, R2R Directive, Battery Regulation), what this means for repair and what is still missing to achieve a thriving repair ecosystem.
Join our conversation with EU officials from the EU Commission! Opening by the European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders and with the participation of Ada Preziosi (DG JUST) and Wojtek Sitarz (DG ENV).
