Printers have grown to be an archetype of today’s throwaway culture. Yet, there are no regulations in place to adress their built-in obsolescence.

Remember the regulations adopted in 2019 on repairaibility? It seems the European Commission might be silently undoing some of these rules despite overwhelming public support.

The European Commission is currently reviewing options to improve the design of game consoles and printers. We need repairability to be considered.
